“Senate’s gone home. Pass the word.”

In a move reminiscent of having a kegger while Mom and Dad take that weekend away, President Bush has availed himself of a little understood but perfectly legal thing known as a “recess appointment” to make John Bolton our UN Ambassador.

    appointment as our United Nations
    Ambassador in your posting of 8/1/5.
    Nevertheless, I find the phrase
    “UN Ambassador” [UN meaning NOT]
    indicative of many of how
    many of us feel.
